As a Control Systems Engineer for Arxada in Conley, GA, you will work with a team of talented individuals to design, develop, install, commission & maintain state-of-the-art process control computer systems for the wood protection business.
Additionally you will offer remote support for over 100 systems to maintain optimum production.
Key
Responsibilities:
Design, develop and modify process control software used in wood preservation systems.
Troubleshoot process control software, hardware, instrumentation, and equipment to maintain optimum production expectations.
Commission, monitor, evaluate, or inspect the installation of control systems equipment and instrumentation for compliance with design standards.
Accommodate, adapt and introduce changes to the design as required.
Knowledge of design, development, and implementation with PC/PLC based process control systems and associated control panel fault diagnostics.
PLC - Proficient in the design, development and application of Programmable Logic Controllers and programming software.
SCADA - Knowledge of supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) software design, development, and implementation including graphical user interface (GUI) design, development, and enhancement.
SQL - Understanding of SQL database design, development, implementation and repair.
Key requirements:
Associates or Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience Previous process control experience in a manufacturing or chemical environment (Co-op or Internship acceptable) Networking - Familiarity with computer networking hardware and implementation, both wired and wireless Mathematics - Understanding of arithmetic, algebra, geometry and their applications for calculations of areas, volumes, flowrates, mixtures, chemical usage and uptakes Travel Requirements:
